Driver app: today's deliveries on a route map, tap-to-navigate, customer SMS with live tracking link.
Drivers were on WhatsApp with the chef, customers were on the phone with the owner asking "where's my food?", and tips were going missing.
Driver opens the app, sees today's drops with the optimised route, hits Start. Customer gets an SMS with a live tracking link the second the order leaves the kitchen. Tip and cash logged on delivery.
Customer "where is it?" calls dropped to near zero. Drivers prefer the app to the WhatsApp group.
The story behind the build.
Last piece of the Devil's Kitchen suite. The owner had a list of "things that went wrong on a Friday" and most of them ended with the driver. We shipped this in six days and the Friday list got short.
